Dear Hayfield Families:

Welcome to the start of a new and exciting year at Hayfield Elementary! 

I am very honored to serve as your new PTA president for the 2009-2010 school year.  I’m excited to unveil our new Hayfield PTA logo on the top of this letter which conveys the message of what the PTA does at Hayfield and what PTA monies support.

When you join the PTA you support a host of programs that enrich our kids – such as after-school programs as varied as cooking classes, Mad Science, and a host of sporting programs.  Your dues monies also support the agendas that each child will receive their first day of school, as well as those nifty smart boards which bring technology and innovation directly into the classroom.  And we would be remiss if we didn’t do our part to support school spirit.  The PTA sells shirts, sweatshirts and other items and provides school spirit wear for our field day programs.

You have to admit our logo says it best. I hope you will join the PTA and support all these activities.  I know you have heard it before, but in these days of tight county budgets, the Hayfield community depends on our assistance more and more.  Please join today so that your money can help us provide Hayfield with the best there is to offer.
