 We would like to take this opportunity to encourage everyone to join the Hayfield Elementary PTA! We are an all-volunteer organization, so our membership is what leads and funds the PTA. Below this letter is our Membership Form. Please take a moment to fill it out and return it to school with your child. PTA Membership is $15 for a family, $8 for an individual or grandparent.
The Hayfield Elementary PTA holds fundraisers during the year and the proceeds from these fundraisers are used to offer programs to enrich, tools for learning and activities that foster school spirit. The PTA pays for things you might not even be aware of. Here is a sampling of your PTA dollars at work during the past year: · Creative Arts Programs for our students · Final purchases of SMARTBoards for ALL grade level classrooms and many specialty areas (i.e. Art, Music, Upper Learning Lab, Library, etc.) · Parent training · Staff appreciation and support professional development for staff · Student agendas · Transportation costs for field trips using yellow school buses
This year we are excited to share with everyone that we will be turning our fundraising focus to purchasing new playground equipment for our students. It is our goal to purchase equipment in phases so that our students can enjoy the expanded playground quicker. We will be sharing the plans with everyone at our Back to School Night and hope that you are all as excited as we are!
